Recently Malta Warehouse, an online supermarket in Malta, contacted me with an offer to collaborate with them by reviewing some of the products they sell in their shop. To commence this collaboration, the first product they sent me was a lovely Montagne Jeunesse face mask. Now, to tell you the truth I had never heard or tried any masks from this brand so I was very looking forward to testing it out. So let’s start!

Montagne Jeunesse is a cruelty free and vegetarian-friendly company therefore their masks are suitable for most people. They have an extensive range of masks catering for different skin types however the one I was sent was the Red Hot Earth Anti-Stress Sauna Masque. First of all, it comes in a 15ml packet and if used sparingly, you can get 2 uses out of it. The mask is a deep-cleansing one for normal to oily skin, with red self-heating clay to relax and de-stress.

As the name suggests, this sauna masque heats up on contact with the skin. It's warming sensation opens up your pores and deep cleans them leaving a soft and smooth looking skin. The texture of this masque is slightly sticky yet gooey so it’s very easily to put on and remove. It also has a very sweet summery smell and a fun colour - it’s pink!

All in all, I very much liked my first MJ mask. It left my skin soft, smooth and clean. I can’t wait to try out more from their range! They’re so great for a little pampering and relaxing session.

Have you ever tried their affordable masks? If your answer is no and you #lovebargains, check out Malta Warehouse!

Review & Swatches: Pupa Milano | Bronze Fever Collection*

Review & Swatches: Pupa Milano | Bronze Fever Collection*

Around 2 weeks ago I received a PR package from Pupa Milano Malta containing some products from their new Summer 2016 limited edition collection bearing the name ‘Bronze Fever’.

The collection consists of:
  • MADE TO LAST WATERPROOF EYESHADOW (€ 10.80)
  • 3 VAMP! INTENSE KAJALS (€11.10)
  • 4 BALMY OILS (€ 11.25)
  • 2 FACE & BODY HIGHLIGHTERS (€ 15.25)
  • 4 LASTING COLOR GEL NAIL POLISHES (€ 6.15)

In my package I got the VAMP! Intense Kajal Liner in 001 (Black), a Made to Last Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick in 013 and a Balmy Oil in 002. I immediately put these products to test and continued testing them during the past 2 weeks and the following are my thoughts.

VAMP! Intense Kajal Liner in 001 (Extra Black)
To be honest with you all, I’ve never had an eyeliner in this shape. However, as soon as I put it to the test I fell in love with it. It is so creamy and pigmented, it blew me away! Right from the first application it gives you an intense look. It also doesn’t smudge easily which makes it a great product for the summer heat. It’s also great for that 5 minute morning makeup look or to keep it on your bag. Such a lovely liner!

Made to Last Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick in 013 (Golden Rose)
This does exactly what it says. The product comes in a pen like twist up stick that allows you to apply the eyeshadow exactly wherever you need it. Its innovative formula guarantees extreme hold and a perfect resistance to water, humidity and high temperatures. It’s a vibrant waterproof eyeshadow, it stays on flawlessly and even for a long time with no creasing nor smudging. This eyeshadow stick also comes with a sharpener at the end which makes it even better especially when you’re in a hurry and you can’t find a sharpener (other brands take note).  The shimmer in the 013 shade reflects the light gorgeously and I love using this to highlight my tear duct so I can look wide-awake in the morning when I’m still half asleep. Definitely a must have!

Balmy Oil in 002 (Orange Sunset)

It combines the shine of a gloss and the moisturizing effect of a lip balm with a hint of colour. It’s very comfortable on the lips, doesn’t settle in fine lines and unlike other glosses it is not sticky. The balmy oil also contains raspberry seed oil which nourishes and hydrates the lips deeply. It’s also great for the office where the AC is constantly on and you need a little help for you dried lips or for the beach for that hint of colour and shine. This lip balm is definitely pure pleasure on the lips. I just adore it!

A look I've created using the products mentioned above:
  • Vamp! Intense Kajal Eyeliner in 001 (Extra Black) used to create the winged liner.
  • Made to Last Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick in 013 (Golden Rose) in the tear duct.
  • Balmy Oil in 002 (Sunset Orange) all over the lips.

Last Thursday, the lovely Marija from VJ Salomone very kindly invited me to the Aussie Hair Care Launch party and I was so looking forward to this launch! Now to be totally honest with you all, I've only tried the Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo but that's all it takes for me to decide whether I like or detest a brand, and I can tell you that this brand is amazingThere are 5 ranges of the Aussie Hair Care brand available in Malta at the moment which are; Miracle Moist, Frizz Miracle, Take The Heat, Aussome Volume and Mega.

Now back to the event! The launch party was held at 'The Galley' in Ta' Xbiex where we were welcomed with a purple carpet leading all the way to the terrace with a gorgeous view. The event itself had such a chill and relaxing atmosphere in true Aussie style. We've also enjoyed the lovely sundowners and bbq all planned for us to celebrate this launch.

I'll stop rambling now and let you enjoy some photos which are the official VJ Salomone Marketing Aussie Brand Launch Event photos which you can see more of on their Facebook page here.

A big thankyou goes to Marija and VJ Salomone for hosting such a aussome event and for inviting me along!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend :)
