Don’t you just love products that have more than one use? If you do, I would like you to meet the IKOO Brush and Scalp Massager. Yes, you read that right! Apart from being a pain-free detangling brush, this brush also gives you a gentle head massage while you’re brushing your hair.

Ikoo’s design gives a nod to traditional Chinese medicine, activating pressure points along the scalp and making hair brushing like a self-head massage. I found that it slightly helps relieve headaches and leaves me feeling a bit more relaxed. Now my hair is very fine yet curly so you can guess that it is very prone to knots. The Ikoo brush made it much easier to detangle my hair, especially in the morning when I’m in a hurry.

This is because of the following key defining features of the brush:

Firstly, the concave shape of the brush makes it a perfect fit to your hand and head shape. This ergonomic feature allows for the manual pressure when brushing to be distributed evenly.
Secondly, due to its optimized bristle architecture, the brush painlessly detangles the hair without the usual strains and pains whilst massaging the scalp due to it massaging important acupuncture points found in the scalp.

The brush comes in a lovely silver metal box with a viewing side so you can see the brush inside. It’s so sleek and presentable that it would also make a great gift to give (especially now that Christmas is approaching).

Ikoo’s brushes come in a large size for home or pocket sized with a cover to pop in your purse for brushing on the go.  The Ikoo Home Brush in black or black retails at 19.95 while the travel size retails at 17.95. The brush also comes in 5 metallic colours with a choice of black or white bristles; the home retails at 21.95 and the travel size at 19.95. The brushes can be found at Beauty Cosmos in Fgura and in selected shops around Malta. If you have any enquiries regarding any shops, please let me know and I'll direct you to the nearest shop to you.

So if you want to make combing your hair fun again, make sure to try out this brush!

Love, T
